Full Season Prep Teams

Prep Teams provide an opportunity for new athletes to experience All-Star Cheer, but with a limited time/financial commitment. Athletes ages 6-15 are welcome!



TEAM PLACEMENTS: May

SEASON: June through April

PRACTICES: One day per week / 1.5 hours

Prep Teams are our 2nd most competitive level of cheerleading at ICT Cheer Legacy. Registration and Team Placements take place in May. We will typically allow registration through June if there is availability on teams. Half Season Teams begin practice in June and have one 90-minute practice per week. The season progresses through the following April with competitions typically starting in December and running through April, for a total of 4 competitions.

Half Season Teams are broken down into competitive divisions by age and skill level. All teams at ICT Cheer Legacy are built based upon each team having the ability to max out their scoresheet at every competition. Your RESPECT and TRUST in the ICT Cheer Legacy Staff is very important throughout this process!

Team Scores are based on the execution of tumbling, stunting, jumping, dancing, tossing, and performance. All of these components are vital to putting together a successful team. Teams will be formed based on the talent and skills executed by athletes, as well as the number of athletes at tryouts. This assures that your athlete will be placed on a team that best represents his or her age and skill level, thus forming strong and competitive teams.
