Half Season Competitive Cheer Teams

Half Season is an 8-month (September - April) commitment. This is a great introduction to All-Star Cheer.

Novice Teams provide an opportunity for new athletes to experience All-Star Cheer, but with a limited time/financial commitment. Athletes ages 3-14 are welcome! Team Placements Only - there are no tryouts for these teams.

TEAM PLACEMENTS: August

SEASON: September through April

PRACTICES: One day per week / 1.5 hours

COMPETITIONS: 3 competitions

Half Season Teams are our 2nd most competitive level of cheerleading at ICT Cheer Legacy. Registration and Team Placements take place in August. We will typically allow registration through September if there is availability on teams. Half Season Teams begin practice in September and have one 90-minute practice per week. The season progresses through the following April with competitions typically starting in February and running through April, for a total of 3 competitions.

Half Season Teams are broken down into competitive divisions by age and skill level. All teams at ICT Cheer Legacy are built based upon each team having the ability to max out their scoresheet at every competition. Your RESPECT and TRUST in the ICT Cheer Legacy Staff is very important throughout this process!

Team Scores are based on the execution of tumbling, stunting, jumping, dancing, tossing, and performance. All of these components are vital to putting together a successful team. Teams will be formed based on the talent and skills executed by athletes, as well as the number of athletes at tryouts. This assures that your athlete will be placed on a team that best represents his or her age and skill level, thus forming strong and competitive teams.

We are happy to accept ALL ATHLETES AGES 3-14, with USASF Level 1 skills.
